Xanthe, often called Xan, is a very pale skinned girl who stands at a height of 5 feet and 3 inches, with an adequate slender figure. She has short and very shaggy black hair that looks like it hasn't been combed straight for a while, however, she accents her jet black hair with some light orange ribbons, so that it would somehow stand out, as well as her midnight eyes. Xanthe's clothing style is very simple; she likes to wear an orange long sleeved coat and under that, a dark gray long shirt. She also has a habit to wear black and gray checkered clothing, heaven knows why. This includes her tie, her ruffled skirt, and even her shoes. She also likes to wear loose gray socks to hide some scars she's afraid to show to the word.
Other noticable things to see about Xan? Nothing. At least, nothing from her perspective. She does hide some ballers under her sleeve as she likes to collect them, but other than those fact, nothing. Her attire may change, however. She might sometimes remove her coat and put it inside her knapsack, just like that. Basically, Xan is your average person, if you call her average.

If you're thinking that Xanthe hasn't been going out much, you're probably correct. Xan isn't much of an outdoors person, and she finds a way to think highly negative of nearly everything. Including herself. She can be very crabby, and she does not bother to "give a f*ck" about anything. However, she can also have bright moments, those being slightly common nowadays. She would normally help others out, but sometimes, she doesn't. She likes to give information, however, no matter how accurate or inaccurate it may be to others.
Don't be surprised if she suddenly makes you her "enemy", she does that nearly all the time. And most of those times, she slowly but surely loses that thought. She appears to be very pessimistic, but she is just having self esteem issues. She might show it, and she might not. It depends on the character. Xanthe is a bit forgetful, and often making arguments just to have a little fun. But these arguments are mainly just simple conversations that do not even hurt anybody. But she might not know if she did hurt somebody; she just doesn't notice things like that, meaning, she has some problems in socializing. If that might work as an excuse.
Strengths? Xanthe would consider knowing nearly a lot about Pokemon, even if she has few experiences in battling and touching one. Her tactics, however, are highly experimental, as she doesn't know if it would work or not. Another would be that she could beat everybody in a staring contest. Everybody. As for her weaknesses, one major thing is that she thinks of herself so lowly, making her think of herself so highly, a false opinion of herself. She also dislikes bugs, except butterflies, as they are an exception. And as stated above, she has people problems. Deal with it. Other traits? She doesn't know. Not yet. Summing it up, Xan is still searching for her use in the world, whatever it may be.

Xanthe lived in Alternia City since she was born. She has been thought many things, particularly those concerning the technology around these parts, not including how the fountain of evolution manages to evolve Pokemon that are usually traded. Once she had thought to herself that the fountain hid a portal to another fountain and traded there; but that's simply preposterous. Normally, she'd go out during the times when the sunlight is gone, and sleep late (or not even sleep at all), being the cause of her unusually pale skin tone. It is also a wonder how she manages to stay awake, but she sometimes dozes off, so she isn't that nocturnal.
Since Alternia City is controlled by the Hunters, Xan had to be very careful with her companion Pokemon, a Petilil, once she found near her brother's flower pots and befriended it, making sure that it wouldn't be stolen by them... even if it was a high chance. Oddly enough, Petilil, now named Chu, managed to stay with her and became her very first Pokemon. When Chu was able to fend for herself, Xan made it possible that she could explore the City while she stuck in her room, just looking out the bright daylight. Sometimes, she would also go with her Pokemon but she most often justs stays there, staring outside the window and sometimes reading books that she would find just sitting there on her bookshelf.
Her childhood isn't all that special, if she could be honest. She was a regular girl that didn't like the sun, preferred the shade, and she liked the night more than the day. She would sometimes go out with her brother to buy food, and sometimes go to other towns for various purposes like exploring, or maybe some supplies. In fact, she had a boring life, in her perspective. Of course, her brother was nice, but she was in the shadow of her brother once, or often times. She was basically the one that couldn't do anything, according to some, and she wastes her time sitting around and doing nothing. She didn't mind them much, as she knew it was kind of true. At the age of fifteen, she found her brother packing most his things, telling her that he was going to marry some girl and that Xan was good enough to take care of herself, maybe even start a journey. He left her alone, but he gave her a chance. A chance to leave, to explore, and maybe to earn some badges on the way. And she took that chance. A few days after he's gone, she took her bags, coat, and her Petilil to float along with her in search for fun, experience, and some friends while she's at it.

Chu is the cutest Petilil ever. Because she's so cute, she sometimes uses that advantage to have some trainers give her food, sometimes berries. Chu is also speedier than the average Petilil, she also knows how to use the breeze to her advantage. The Petilil can sometimes be wary of other Pokemon, since well, they're a whole other story. She is sometimes friendly to them, but sometimes, she can be playful, and might make them agitated. She isn't like Xan in any way, but oddly enough, they're very close. Also, Chu just thinks nearly everything are miracles, from how the sun shines, and whole other stuff even though Xan clearly explains how it nearly works; she just doesn't listen to her. Oh, and she loves clowns.
