Age:[/i] 17
Gender:[/i] Male
Character Class:[/i] Hunter x Luxray Pokemorph
Appearance:[/i]
Gaius, standing at a healthy height of 5’8 is a total perfectionist from top to bottom; this can be proven by his limited choices of clothes and hairstyles. This Luxray Pokemorph can be quite a girl magnet with his sharp, golden eyes and unique dark-blue hair, not to mention that the Luxray tail can be quite a bonus for certain...fetishes and fans alike. Gaius can often be seen in his dark-blue (multi-toned) zipped up jacket, where golden linings trail along the bottom of the jacket and around his wrists. His blue trousers are made of soft, elastic fabric, providing maximum movement and agility when running, while his shoes - blue on top, yellow underneath - give him comfort and offer another hint about his Pokemorph species (if his tail isn’t obvious enough already).
Gaius often chooses to hide his skin, wearing black, lightning patterned gloves or longer trousers to hide as much as possible. Could it be that there’s too much Luxray fur on his skin and he decides that it’s an uncomfortable sight? There are also some occasions where his tail, his eyes and the golden lining on his clothes would release some sort of glowing light, shining bright yellow. Are these hidden electricity that is controlled deep within? Can it bolt outwards and hit innocent passersby? Despite the jacket being able to ricochet away most threatening electric attacks, this energy...this power, is hard to control; even Gaius has to be prepared...or the consequential pain might literally be ‘shocking’.
One last thing - Gaius can turn into a Luxray with his morphing powers. If anyone would like to know about his potential...they might have to ask the perfectionist himself. Just remember to always be prepared.
Personality:[/i]
Do not be be deceived by Gaius’ sparkling appearance; a darker nature dwells deep within his fur. A primal, beastly soul is oppressed in the depths of his heart, often convincing him to turn into a beast himself. However, Gaius’ willpower manages to lock in the primal instincts inside him, never to be shown to his friends or acquaintances. Until now, nothing has succeeded in making him lose his ‘chill’, and nobody has seen the beastial side of his heart. Well, actually...there was one person...but that’s another story. With such a dark childhood, it’s surprising that Gaius can handle his emotions fairly well.
Being a Luxray Pokemorph has given him a few bonuses; electricity runs inside his veins, making him exceptionally awake and spirited. Hours of sleep can be reduced from the average eight to something close to four. The dark traits of the lions have also affected the morph, granting him enhanced vision at night and an improved sense of smell. Because of this, Gaius often has no idea if he likes the daytime more or the nighttime. Probably both.
Gaius is a Hunter, and this would often give people a bad impression. After all, Hunters have taken over the region, so his allies were to blame for these selfish acts. However, this bad impression would probably be correct for someone like Gaius; he isn’t an outcast of the Hunters, and he definitely has the minds of one - witty, tactical, and loyal to his superiors. Once Gaius has locked onto his target, nothing would stop him from tracking him down. This makes him extremely competitive when going against his opponents. He can be tricky with his mind games and difficult choices, often putting people into a trap or a point of no return.
Despite being a Hunter with a somewhat evil personality, the lion cub inside his genes still makes him a child at heart. When people aren’t looking, Gaius might do some childish, Shinx-like actions such as licking his paws (in this case, hands), wagging his tail and even letting out purr-like sounds to show his happiness. This side, together with the even gloomier side of his personality, are both rare and do not appear too often. Gaius’ family had also seen him blush before and they all agreed that it was ‘adorable’, but Gaius himself never really liked people making fun of him like that in spite of knowing the truth. But don’t forget his identity - enjoying a high ranking among the Hunters, he would kill someone if he had to.
To cut it short - If you see him, do try your best to get on his good side.

History:[/i]
Creating Pokemorphs had always been difficult, but some people were able to find an answer...
Gaius’ family is something out of the ordinary; his father is a high ranked Hunter while his mother is an elite scientist who specialized in electricity. Because of these differences, both of them don’t normally see each other with the father living in the Zaen Region and the mother working at Sunyshore back in the Sinnoh Region.
It’s really a mystery why they loved each other...even when the Gaius’ mother was a little mental and his father was like a dark overlord. Gaius was an accident, or so they said he was, and neither of them had expected this to happen. With no time to take care of the baby, Gaius’ father - Raiden, continued to work up his ranks miles across the ocean, leaving his wife - Tesla, alone with a two-month-old baby in her womb.
While the baby inside her was supposed to be an ordinary human, Tesla’s ambition to create something new had taken over. Since she was an expert with electricity, she tried different experiments with the embryo inside her, where some of them included some nasty tricks. She even tried pushing different genes from electric Pokemon (mostly Luxray) into the egg’s hormones, trying to change his DNA through artificial methods. Miraculously, the embryo survived and slowly grew until it was a full sized fetus. All these experiments had been done on her own, and Raiden didn’t know about this one single bit. Raiden had also told her not to try anything new onto the baby, but this order was obviously thrown into the trash. While Tesla was happy about her son being a future Pokemorph, she knew that Raiden would not be delighted...but apparently the scientist didn’t really care about her husband’s feelings.
So after nine months of pain, Raiden rushed back to the Sinnoh Region to see his baby, and Gaius was born in front of his parents - a normal baby...with golden eyes and a Shinx tail. Surprised and extremely angry, Raiden yelled at his wife, calling her a freak and claimed Gaius to be ‘a worthless furball hybrid’. Tesla retorted with a hopeful attitude, telling him how unique their son could be, but her words couldn’t change Raiden’s mind. With a swift, violent divorcement, the Hunter took the baby Pokemorph and brought him to the Zaen region where he could supervise Gaius himself.
Only after a ten years did Raiden realize how much potential his son had. Before Gaius’ tenth birthday, nothing much had happened to him physically and mentally wise. The tail still remained but nothing else had occurred. But things changed right after his tenth birthday when Gaius experienced what his father called an ‘electricity activation’, which activated the Luxray genes inside of him. Gaius’ eyes glowed golden and a jolt of wild electricity bolted out of his body, hitting a nearby Purrloin right at its heart. It couldn’t kill the Pokemon, but the poor cat was somewhere close to being in a coma. This event finally made Raiden realize the potential of a Pokemorph, and Gaius’ life has been changed ever since.
The following years Gaius had successfully mastered a few skills; he could release and absorb electricity, he could see better in the dark and have enhanced smelling, and he could also turn into a Luxray - his Pokemorph species. Gaius also had encountered a friendly Litwick and captured him on his own, naming him Patron for being his ‘special guardian/saint’. Gaius’ perfectionist personality had also been developed throughout these years of training, turning him into the boy he is now. The Luxray boy continued to experiment with new moves and powerful abilities, making his father proud. Strangely though - Raiden had never regretting leaving his wife. Ever.
Another change of events occurred when he was fifteen, only two years away from the current time. Raiden finally decided to let Gaius join the Hunters, but was instantly turned down by his superiors. Their reason was: ‘your son is a Pokemorph, and only normal humans are allowed’. Raiden was furious and demanded to let Gaius enter the team, allowing his son to showcase his talents in front of the superiors, but was still turned down because of the same rule. With one final attempt, Raiden risked his own job and barged into one of his superior’s room, requesting to fight with their Pokemon. If Raiden won, then Gaius could enter. If he lost, then he would lose his job.
The ending...was not so fortunate for Gaius and his father. Raiden exited the room without muttering a word, surprising his son by leaving the building as if he hadn’t existed. Unable to accept how battered and depressed his father was, Gaius stood up and transformed into his Pokemon forme, charging into the room with a pair of golden, murderous eyes. Something had snapped inside him, and the beastial spirit had taken over his common sense. With a roar from the depths of his heart, the Luxray charged forward and enveloped the room with golden light.
After a few minutes, a boy wearing a ‘Luxray costume’ exited the room, and the man inside had died a painful, electrical death. The superiors finally stepped down from their rules, allowing Gaius to enter the Hunters with pride and dignity while his father slowly turned to his original self. Despite being overwhelmed with happiness at that moment, Gaius had finally felt the primal side of his spirit and acknowledged its power. From that day onward, Gaius has kept his promise, and he would hide this little dark secret at any costs.
