Tiffany's First Pokemon

"Keep going, Momee," breathed Tiffany as they briskly walked on the route to the Trainer Union. "Are you excited? We're going to have a starter Pokemon!"

"Cott, cottonee~!" chirped the Cotton Puff Pokemon.

Tiffany felt the sun's heat gradually bearing down her and the feeling of it, together with the icky sweat, made her uncomfortable. How she detested the afternoon sun... Time to run for it...

"Momee, let's go quick. The sun's getting higher."

Tiffany hurried towards the smranch, her bag flapping behind, as the threat of the scorching sun at its zenith loomed before her. Momee bounced after her, the sun's heat having no effect on her. Before the ball of fire reached into its noon position, Tiffany had already rushed into the shady comfort of the building. Thank Arceus, she was finally out of the sun's ruthless rays. She wiped off her sweat just as her Cottonee hopped past the ranch doors and stopped next to her feet. Panting and leaning on her kneecaps, she looked around to see if anyone was around. She sighted a young male teenager with blonde hair and greeted him, "Hello, can I have my starter Pokemon? I want one of those super adorable ice cream Pokemon! I mean, uhm, Vanillite, please. "

The young teenager blinked and smiled at the girl's question, giving her a little shrug, "Well, right here of course! If you'd like a starter, I can probably find one and give it to you! We seriously have quite a lot to choose from, so there's probably one you'd like. Well, here's the list of Pokemon you can choose from..."

The teenager then reached for a paper in his pocked and unfolded the sheet, showing her the long list of starters. [You can see this list at the 'possible starters' page. You do not have to if you already have on in mind] "We have lots of choices! Sure, we don't have everything, but we have tonnes of Pokemon and types, ranging from Kabuto to Shinx, from Squirtle to Meowth! Oh and welcome to the Zaen Region's Trainer Union! If you have any questions feel free to ask me. That's what I'm here for anyway!"

She stared at the boy's list of starter Pokemon, searching for the one she wanted. Momee hopped up to take a glance at the paper and whined in dismay when they had no Cottonees. "Don't be so sad, I have you anyway," she patted the Cottonee's head. She resumed back to the list and found what she was looking for. Pointing to an icecream cone Pokemon, she said, "Can I have this please? It looks so cute!"

"Oh and by the way, what moves would my Vanillite know? I'm new to all this Pokemon battling as a Trainer."

"Vanillite! Decent choice! said the blonde teen with a thumbs-up, "As for the moves...I guess you'll have to see for yourself! As the Vanillite is still at a low level, I doubt it'll know much right now...but I'm sure you'll be able to teach it some others as you progress!" I'll also grab you a few items so hold on a sec..."


The teen reached for a drawer at the left, pulling out a Pokeball and a few strange items before giving it to the new trainer, "This is your Pokeball and a few neccesary items. There is also a PDA. They can translate Pokemon speech so you can soon communicate with your Cottonee!"
